Bank of Ireland is short of cash. Although it is not in such dire straits as HBOS and Bradford & Bingley, it desperately needs a huge injection of capital to fund an increasingly unhealthy loan book.

It took weeks for the post office and the bank of ireland to return my savings and only offered half of the interest it almost gave me a nervous breakdown with their mis-information from their staff; and the financial services are not able to act untill 8 weeks have passed; this still has not been sorted out as yet! andrewlangham@yahoo.co.uk
